Great Opening Of The International Expo San Luis 2013

San Luis de la Paz, Guanajuato. Sunday, May 19, 2013. The International Expo San Luis 2013, organized by the Rotary clubs of the city, was opened with great success in the property of the Rotary Club and the Cultural Center Ludovicense. There was the blessing of the facility, the ribbon cutting ceremony and toured the exhibits of photographs, booths and rides of the respected countries. Also enjoyed the artistic performances of China, Indonesia and Lebanon. Thus, begins a week of cultural activities, culminating on Sunday May 26.
The International Expo was inaugurated by: Luis Manrique (4160 Rotary District Governor), Wolf Stullenberg (Rotary District Governor Elect 4160), Sergio Castelán (President of the Rotary Club San Luis de la Paz), Miriam Hernandez (President of The Rotary Club International Mines), Luis Domínguez (Coordinator of the St. Louis Expo International 2013), Juan Alcocer (Director, State Institute of Culture), and José Carlos Oliva (Secretary of the City of San Luis de la Paz).
Among the countries participating in the craft show were Ghana, Argentina, China, Cuba, Colombia, Indonesia, Peru, Ecuador, Lebanon, and Germany. On the first day of the Cultural Forum, China featured music, dance and song typical of their homeland. While Indonesia and Lebanon shared their traditional dance. The beauty queens waved city flags of nations invited. Rotary authorities, municipal, and state were among the attendees and the kids enjoyed the rides.
